I am perfectly reasonable. Most of the time, my appetite tends toward the healthy side. Yes, I love a good French fry, but I couldn’t tell you the last time I had McDonald’s. For every bowl of ice cream, I love a plate of broccoli and Brussels sprouts.
Trans fats aren’t part of the routine.

So then why do these brightly colored boxes of processed crap look good to me? At CV-fricking-S, no less.
What has gotten into me?

This gluten thing is a mind-warp, I tell you.

LOL This is hilarious!! I find myself in this bind all the time!! Things that I never even touched before going gluten free seem enticing for some strange reason!

I know when I have been in the proccess of overhauling my diet, even though I tend to like healthy foods to begin with, crazy stuff like this happens! It is how the mind deals with deprivation. You will snap out of it soon, I am sure!

Well, you know someone makes BIG bucks to make you want that junk. But I think we all fall victim to advertising! And doesn’t red increase the appetite? Look at all that red!
I really want some cheezits now… ha.

My husband is the celiac in the family and there’s nothing he misses more than Nutter Butters, even though I whip him up awesome homemade gluten-free treats. Something about the red box factor, I’m sure. Love your humorous blog. Love your gluten-free cats.
