Dough for It

Yesterday’s D.C. DailyCandy showcased a B’more-based vegan baker. The company’s called Emily’s Desserts and they offer a line of gluten-free vegan donuts.

The GF varieties are made with rice flour, potato starch, and tapioca flour. They’re nice and soft, with a good cakey flavor.

The donuts come in three flavors: cinnamon sugar, glazed, or chocolate-dipped. They look like mini bundt cakes and are the size of mini Entenmann’s donuts. Each comes in a pack of four.

The cinnamon sugar were my hands-down faves.

Hooray for having coffee dunkers again.
